Mr. Muniz has been law for over 13 years. His experience representing insurance companies for 6 years has given him valuable insight into the way claims are handled, evaluated, and treated by them. After honing his craft, he determined he could better serve his community by helping individuals and families instead. Knowing that his efforts truly have the power to impact people in deep and positive ways is what motivates him to fight for your cause.
Throughout his career, he has litigated countless hurricane claims and property damage claims throughout the state of Florida. He saw the industry response to Hurricane Irma from both the insurance side and homeowner owner side and has the expertise to guide you through your claim, whether it’s a hurricane claim, roof damage claim, or pipe break claim. He has handled a wide array of property damage claims and has helped homeowners recuperate millions in damages the insurance companies would not have otherwise paid. A notable recent win includes a 2024 jury verdict in Broward County property matter. The total insurance company payout was about 3 times the offer made in the weeks leading up to trial.
Education & Credentials
Mr. Muniz was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012 and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2014. He is a double Cane, having graduated from University of Miami School of Law, Cum Laude, in 2012 and as an undergraduate in 2008.

Personal or Community Connection
Mr. Muniz and his family moved to Palm Beach County, Florida, when he was in high school. During law school, he interned at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office as a certified legal intern and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s mediation division. Upon graduation, he worked at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where he helped homeowners in danger of foreclosure after the 2008 housing crisis. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and working out at the gym.
