Charles Muniz is an experienced civil litigation attorney who focuses his practice on property damage claims. Mr. Muniz spent over six years representing insurance companies prior to his decision to help homeowners, giving him valuable insight into the way claims are handled, evaluated, and treated by the insurance companies. Recognizing his behind-the-scenes experience could be used to better serve his community and help individuals and families instead, Mr. Muniz changed career paths and now fights for his community members and residents of Florida. Knowing that his efforts truly have the power to impact people in deep and positive ways, motivates Charles to continue aggressively pursuing justice for his clients.
Charles has litigated countless hurricane claims and property damage claims throughout the state of Florida. He saw the industry response to Hurricane Irma from both the insurance side and homeowner owner side and has the expertise to guide you through your claim, whether it’s a hurricane claim, roof damage claim, or pipe break claim. He has handled a wide array of property damage claims and has helped homeowners recover millions of dollars in damages the insurance companies would not have otherwise paid.
Mr. Muniz is originally from Alpine, New Jersey. He and his family moved to Palm Beach County, Florida, when he attended high school. Mr. Muniz graduated from University of Miami, 2008, and went to University of Miami School of Law, 2012. During law school, he interned at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office as a certified legal intern and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s mediation division. Upon graduation, he worked at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where he helped homeowners in danger of foreclosure after the 2008 housing crisis. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and working out at the gym.
