Sonja’s legal career began in foreclosure defense, where she litigated a high volume of cases across Florida, managing complex motions, mediations, and trial preparation for both contested and uncontested matters. She later expanded her practice to include bankruptcy and real estate law while also assisting other law firms with complex legal practice statewide. Her multi-disciplinary approach to legal practice allows her to provide clients and referral partners with a well-rounded, strategic approach to legal and financial solutions.
Fluent in French and Haitian Creole, with working knowledge of Spanish, Sonja is passionate about serving diverse communities. Her international experience includes legal consulting projects in Haiti, where she supported major economic and governmental initiatives.
Sonja holds a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and a B.A. in Legal Communications and Political Science from Howard University, graduating with honors from both institutions.
